The formula to calculate the gas cost of a trip is:
Cost = (Distance ÷ 100) × Efficiency × Price
Example: If you drive 50km, your car uses 10L/100km, and gas is $1.50/L:
- Fuel Used: (50 / 100) × 10 = 5 Litres
- Cost: 5 Litres × $1.50 = $7.50
